I wonder how many motors he has?

    1 for steering
    1 for moving forward
    1 for outriggers to drop
    1 for outriggers to extend
    1 to rotate cab
    1 to extend boom
    1 for winch
    1 to raise boom

    OMG Shocked

Use all 4 IR receivers!! Reached the max limit already!

;DThank you guys for the applauds and compliments Grin
Again paanjang16, you are absolutely very analytical and you have correctly analyzed the quantity of motors and IR receivers.
Can be considered up to the limit.
However, is there any possibility to build compound IR receivers?
Which means that we attach IR receiver to another IR receiver and to operate it, we need two IR remote switches to be toggled simultaneously.
With this we can operate more than 8 channels.
    Sounds complicated huh? Shocked
    OMG!!! Gone haywire now....

    *** brain explodes ****  Shocked

Anyway, ya, i figured this is the limit any technic can go already, unless TLG comes out with a new IR receiver.

Again, the crane looks amazing!!! Estimated how many pieces?

I suspect you "borrowed" parts from the dozers, dino, telescopic hanfler, crane truck, front loader and excavator.

Also, can lift anything with it?

Wow! Tough questions!!! How am I going to count the pieces? I have no idea man. (Have wait until the day I dismantle it Grin)

I did "borrowed" (in fact got mixed) parts from dozers, dino, telehandler, crane truck, front loader and excavator. Grin
Have to sacrifice to make MOC - I believe!

The lifting capacity is not so much though. Can lift a small Technic Rough Terrain Crane. (Crane lift crane...Haha) Grin

    Hi Cheng Fei-san! Great MOC!!

I used to disliked the technic pieces with smooth sides, but from this MOC.....I can see you did a good job to use them to cover the wheels and parts such as gears instead of using plates. Neat!

    I see...Lion-kun.
    You meant liftarm.
They can be assemble together to create a strong structure and at the same time have a smooth appearance.
