Yup, I saw the price, but not sure whether is goes the same around Malaysia or not or only the shop itself.

If you plan to get the crane truck add, RM510 and you can get Mindstorm NXT2.

NXT 2.0 costs a cool RM 1499.00. So minus RM 510 is RM 989.00?? *** insert emoticon where the emoticon shoots itself in the head**** more expensive than Denmark mine you!! My mood to get it is slowly drifting away. Cry

After this set I want to look for other avenues to get my Lego...

In the 8258 there is an XL motor and a battery box. But there is no reason to bump it so high just because of 1 motor.

Back to topic, I may want to get the little telescopic handler if the price is not expensive. The little bulldozer I think only cost less than RM 50.

Some info bout the new Forest Tractor with crane and a little good news: Pnuematic returns!!

8049 tractor with a flatbed on logs - Pneumatic function returns!
First model 2010, which can boast of this great technology with a flatbed tractor is the timber, which has articulated crane arm with a mechanical powered pneumatic pistons!  It can harness the flatbed and controlled management of the cab - this tractor is a must-have!

Apparently they have updated the Czech website with more details.

But there is some speculation that it may look like this  Shocked

Technic bricks has gotten exclusive images of the new Forestry tractor with pneumatics. The pictures still have confidential tag on it, so head over to Technic bricks for the photos here: http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/2009/09/1h2010-technic-team-unveils-8049.html

From the photos it seem to have 2 nos of pneumatic cylinders with 1 pump under the trailer.

Preparing to makan roti next year  Shocked

Actually, have in my hand the January - May 2010 Novelties catalog.

Because the all the images are stamped with the "CONFIDENTIAL" seal, its not possible for me to put them up on the forum without being tangled up with legal issues.

Nevertheless, the 8049 Tractor with log loader should be the biggest set for 2010.
