After waiting for 2 weeks, my vintage set have arrive!  Shocked Cheesy

It came in 2 large zip lock plastic bags...

... which has smaller zip lock bags with parts sorted by color.

Fully completed, it is very big!

It has a little spring loaded crane for lifting containers

And a gantry crane for those kontenas to load onto the ship

Will come up with a review of it soon!  Wink

Once I got it I simply cannot wait to assemble it! Also want to see if there is any missing parts so that I can contact the seller (and also today sunday, got time to assemble). Luckily for me, beside a wrongly inserted minifigure (the life jacket hides the torso design, so it is very easy to miss the torso), this set contains all the parts!! At the end also got some spare parts, dunno if mis-assembled somewhere.  :Smiley

Also got alot of stickers missing, but expected lah for a 2nd hand set and the largest of the stickers cover multiple bricks on side portion of the red ship.

Alza, you have a MISB set?!?@# Shocked Walauehh where did you get it? Did it cost a bomb to obtain the set as it is very expensive, even for a used set!

Can take photo of the back of the box? I have seen the alternate designs before but have no clearer and zoom-in picture.

You meant the set with the big blue floating ship? Yup, this set is the grandpa of all Lego harbor sets  Cheesy If you look closely at the red crane in the new one the 4 legs is similar to the red crane in this old set. Talk about reusing the same mold! Wink

But I still prefer this old one. Will talk more about it in my review (now thinking how the heck to take photo of such a large set Tongue)

    Hi paanjang16,

I see that you really love City theme not to mention the vintage ones.
I could see that you put great effort in obtaining the vintage collections and made very nice and clear reviews.
    Nice photos too.

    Good job.

PS: Sorry for the late reply - Was in South Korea for the last week.
LEGO Technic was quite cheap there though, but I didn't manage to buy. About (20% cheaper). Quite hectic schedule.

Yes I love the City theme and Classic Town theme very much coz I practically grew up with them. Some of the sets I have I am the 1st hand owner Wink

I wonder how is the pricing of the City stuff in South Korea, cheap too?

I didn't peek on those City sets, but I guess, overall they are cheaper as compared to Malaysia.
There are many accessories too such as LEGO watches, bags, DUPLO boots for kids & etc.
