    Hi there, I'm a self employed person earning a good income to fund my Lego collections and here i would like to share with you the gears i'm using and the setup to get the shots for my reviews

    This is the baby i'm using to make the shots, the Canon EOS 500D. It can capture great shots in low light conditions, let alone a well lit room

    The settings for the camera i used
    Lens = EFS 18-55mm kit lens
    ISO = 400
    Aperture = Varies from F3.5 to F10 depends on the object of focus.
    Shutter speed = 0.4 - 0.6 of a sec. Close ups may up to 0.8.
    Manual focus is used to get those close up shots with blur background

    Its a simple setup with white background to reflect light to get bright pictures and i use my computer as a remote control to snap pictures without even touching the camera.

    The work place is lit by a normal 4ft flourescent tube to provide more than enuf illuminance to snap without using flash.

    Since the camera is controlled remotely, a tripod is definately a must to get crisp pics bcos you dont want your natural body movement to spoilt the shots.

    Last but not least is the UCS Death Star

    I'll try to do review on each set i have if time allows.

    Great setup! However I think that your photos are too white/bright, like the one with the white Exo-force mech, the white of the mech is washed out with the background and alittle hard to see. Maybe reduce the exposure time?

    You have so many MISB sets! Shocked Slowly take your time to review them all Smiley

    Btw, what are the 4 white Lego boxes next to the UCS death star box? Another UCS set?
